Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
SpinToFly is a travel-discovery and planning service. This policy explains what information the website processes and why.
Information you provide
- Trip preferences such as origin, budget, travel month, party size, travel class, mood and hotel preference.
- An email address only when you voluntarily subscribe to the newsletter.
How trip data is used
Trip preferences are sent from the website to SpinToFly's server and may be sent to OpenAI to generate a proposed destination and itinerary. SpinToFly also queries Travelpayouts/Aviasales for cached fare data and ExchangeRate-API for currency conversion. These services process requests under their own terms and privacy policies.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, your email address and language preference are stored in SpinToFly's database so the subscription can be managed. SpinToFly does not sell newsletter addresses.
Technical and third-party data
The site loads assets or services from third parties including Google Fonts, Unsplash, FlagCDN and affiliate/booking partners. Those providers may receive ordinary web-request information such as IP address, browser information and referring page. SpinToFly also uses short-lived, hashed IP-derived rate-limit records to protect paid APIs from abuse.
Affiliate links
When you follow an affiliate link, the destination partner may use its own cookies or tracking technologies. SpinToFly does not control those systems.
Retention and security
Trip-generation logs are limited to operational fields such as route, budget, selected preferences and timestamps. Secrets are kept server-side and are not intentionally exposed to visitors. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can use the trip generator without joining the newsletter. If newsletter messaging is enabled, marketing messages must provide a way to unsubscribe. Requests concerning stored newsletter data should be directed to the site operator through the published SpinToFly contact channel.
